Horning’s Hideout makes for a perfect wedding location. Trees? Check! Epic rolling meadows? Check! Picturesque stream? Check! Then you put Katrina and John in charge of filling that space with dozens of hand drawn signs, sweet details every where you look, kids sprinting down the hill at breakneck speed and tons of friends and family that make it feel like the coolest reunion you’ve been to in a long time and the space transforms into something truly special.
You know me, so of course I really loved the oh-so-nerdy superhero flasks John and his groomsmen kept on them all day. You can’t ever go wrong with piles of beautiful wedding donuts and the look on everyone’s face when they realized that the groom’s parents’ toast was about to turn into a Sonny and Cher sing-a-long complete with wigs might be one of my favorite wedding moments of all time.
