Dani + Rachel’s Industrial Eastside Engagement | Alternative Portland Wedding Photographer

If you haven’t had the opportunity to meander around the tens of thousands of square feet that make up City Liquidators you should really do yourself a favor and plan to kill an afternoon there. Even if you’re not in need of party supplies or giant light up signage or leopard print high-heel shaped furniture or beds or any of the other mind boggling assortment of items you’ll find far into it’s long aisles of nicknacks, you’ll still be imbued with a sense of treasure hunting adventure.

Without a set plan, we wandered the warehouse and then let the wandering take us around Portland’s industrial eastside which is full of it’s own visual treasures. Street art and murals,  cobble stone streets of yore peeking through the more modern concrete and old ass buildings that have the magical ability to look more awesome the more rickety and dirty they are. Each of these elements is it’s own uniquely perfect backdrop for goofing off, laughing, loving, dancing, climbing, jumping and a fair amount of making out.

Top it all off with beer tasting at world renowned Hair of the Dog brewery and you have a damn fine sunny Sunday afternoon.
